How did Murphysboro HS prepare you for college?

MHS prepared me in a sense of staying aware of time management. It also gave me the ability to be open and social with all of my professors if and when I had an issue and needed to talk with them.

Most Memorable Red Devils Athletic Moment?
Its between having 18 consecutive serves in one volleyball game or hitting a double against Johnston City to put us ahead and win.

What does being a Red Devil mean to you?
Being a Red Devil means to be loyal to my hometown and what it provided me through high school, college, and for my future. Although a few years out, I still support all of the athletics of MHS and stay up to date with their accomplishments.

What advice would you give to the current Red Devil Athletes?
Take away from it as much as you can. Friendships and connections with not just your teammates, but also the coaching staff and teachers of MHS. Do not take for granted the games you play and the time and effort you put into your sport for one day you will only have them to look back on, not forward to.
