From the Effingham AD: There is some construction just west of Effingham on I-70 prior to Interstate 57/70 merging together in Effingham.  There have been some delays on that stretch of road causing slow traffic patterns through Effingham.  I do not believe this will back up I-57, but if you need, you can exit on Rte-45 in Watson just south of Effingham and take Rte-45 into town.  Just giving you a heads up in case something happens.  Our media is good about letting me know if there are issues, so if I hear something, I will let you know. -Dave Woltman, Effingham Athletic Director
